How early do they close down the rides before WOC?

We are going in Sept and the calendar shows WC of 8:15. What time do you think they will be closing down the rides at Paradise Pier?

Just trying to plan our day....

I don't know the answer for sure, but when there's a 9:00pm WOC show, the rides in Paradise Pier close down at 8:30pm.

FWIW some of the rides re-open in between shows.

They told me last week that they close the lines at 7:30. If you are in line by then, you can ride. Otherwise they just let the line dissipate and close.

And I was told by a CM it was 8pm for the 9pm show. LOL.

So, I think they are still figuring it out! The CM also told me that different rides take different amounts of time to clear their queue, so I would imagine those that take a long time (Sun Wheel) would close earlier than something that loads fast like Screaming. But that's just a guess.

On Saturday (July 31) the standby line for Screamin' was still open at 8:00pm.

On Wed July 28 Screamin was running at 8:45PM while we waited for the show to start. Not sure what time they closed the line.

IMHO, i have heard CM's tell people in and around Paradise pier area and park that the area will be closing at dusk for WOC,the lighthouse thing in the middle near pier if you are sitting there at dusk they will tell you to move.......that is like around 7pm

I saw that the rides stopped about 8:15 on Sunday night.
