How early can you leave the ship?

When returning to Port Canaveral, what time can you actually leave the ship? We would like to be able to be to WDW by 10:00 or 11:00.

Also, have anyone from second seating just "showed up" for the first seating breakfast on the last day? I thought there would be many people that would skip the sit down breakfast for one of the buffets.

Getting to WDW by 10 or 11 is very doable, even if you do the second seating of breakfast. Unless something unusual happens, everyone is off the ship by 9:00. Depending upon your travel arrangements (own car, rental car, town car, disney bus, etc) you should be able to get to WDW in about an hour. An option to showing up for early breakfast is to go to Beach Blanket or Topsiders for what is called "continental breakfast" but other posters have said has warm food on some trips.

Last September we made it to Animal Kingdom before 9:00am.

We had our own transportation though. We did not have to wait for Disney transportation or towncar service.

It was surprising to me that we made it to AK so early.

Talk to your servers the night before...they might be able to work something out for eating at the earlier seating.
We were off by 7:35 on our last trip for an 8:00 a.m. pickup by Happy Limo. They arrived a little early, so we were at the airport before 9. Definitely doable as long as the ship is not deplayed due to a medical emergency or other unforseen problem.

When we were on the 9/1 4 day cruise, the buffet at Beach Blanket, on the last day, was almost as good as any other day of the trip. Fruit, bagels, scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. Since we had first seating, we didn't make sit-down breakfast and ate there instead. I thought it was great..... didn't have to be in the dining room at 6:45am!! Since we weren't in any hurry to get to the airport (late afternoon flight), it was more convenient for us.

No. Room Service is not available on Disembarkation morning.
