We are planning our 1st ever cruise for October 2003--me, my husband and 3 kids. How early can you book your trip? I have heard the earlier the better for discounts-- is that true? Any other advice on discounts? Thanks for your help :)

We booked last month for our May 2003 cruise (it will be our 2nd cruise the 4 day just wasn't long enough:) )! We booked thru Dreams Unlimited, they had a special rebate, the amount depended upon the total cost of the cruise. Ours was $150.00, and we'll take that, every little bit helps! I've always heard the earlier you book, the better the price, it may also depend on the time of year.
Good Luck!

Ressies opened up last June 2001 for sailing dates in 2003. So yes you would be able to get quotes for Oct. 2003 and the sooner you book the more you save. Also, you have a better chance to get what you want. Such as choice of early or late dining and stateroom choices. Have a great time. We have 389 days left and counting every one:>
