OK, DCL vetrens.........I know Disney says you cam embark at 1:00, please give us some inside info to help us along!

I boarded at 12:15. It all depends on how long it takes them to clean up the ship from the cruise that returned that morning and prepare for the new passengers. 1:00 is their estimated time.

Embarkation is usally between 12:15 and 12:30, even though the stated time is 1:00 pm. :)

With that time in mind, what time should you get to the cruise terminal for check in, to ensure boarding early?

:)

Any time after 10:30am. The parking lots and access open then (unless something has changed in the past month).

Thanks taswira! It looks like we're going on the same cruise, we're also sailing on the Wonder on May 12. Can't wait!!!:pinkbounc

Hey sshuttle - That's right! I hope to meet up with you somewhere. I'm sure it will be a fantastic cruise!

Are you going to do the lime green ribbon DISer thing?

Well, I've read occasionally on this board that DISers wear (or attach to their luggage, purse, camera bag, etc) a lime green ribbon so they can recognize each other as DISers, since so many of us have communicated but not yet met.

Can anyone else clarify this?

You got it right! Lime green ribbons are our SECRET CODE! LOL !

It does work too... I have met a couple of DISers at WDW by having my limegreen ribbon in my DD's hair and on my fanny pack!

Thanks, DixieDreamer!

So that was why I asked, sshuttle. We'll be on the same cruise and I'll be looking for lime green ribbons - - and wearing one if I can find one!

Sounds like a fun idea. I'll go to the craft store and get some ribbon and attach it to my camera case!:)
