How early are you supposed to arrive for PS?

We have a 5:50 res. at Hollywood and Vine and I forgot that we wanted to watch the parade, too. Parade starts at 5:30 and the ending point is at the Hollywood and Vine. I have no idea how long this parade is. Anyone?
Also, I wonder if we put our names in at the H&V, if they would let us watch the rest of the parade and then come in to eat? We need a table for 7 so maybe it will take a few minutes for us to be seated and while we are waiting, we can enjoy the parade outside. Ya' Think?

I'm not sure how long the parade takes to get to Mickeys Hat but I'm pretty sure that the parade then heads off down Hollywood Boulevard. I'll hazard a guest at 10-15 mins.

You need to check in at the podium 15 minutes before your allocated PS time. I'd suggest playing safe and perhaps amending you PS time to between 6.00 and 6.15 and then you'll be fine.
