How Does Waitlist Work?

We are booked in a studio at OKW for 4 nights in February. We would love to switch to a standard studio at BWV if it ever became available. How does it work when you are put on a waitlist? Thank you!

If the BWV days you want become available, MS books them for you and cancels the OKW reservation. You get a new confirmation in the mail.

You can also see the new reservation on the Members' Website as soon as it is made. Some members check the Members' Website daily when they have a waitlist.

Have you called to see if there is availability at BWV for your dates? You just might find that you don't have to waitlist at all.

If there is no availability you can go on the waitlist. They will waitlist you for all of the nights and automatically transfer your reservation if/when all nights become available. The waitlist will expire 31 days before your arrival date unless you ask to go on the waitlist that doesn't expire until 7 days out. After the 7 day mark you will need to call day by day to see if there is anything available to you.

So to clarify - I can call MS and ask to be put on a waitlist for a SV studio at BWV. If/when it became available they would automatically change my reservation - it would be all four nights though, they wouldn't change only a couple nights if that's all that came through, right? Thanks again!

Yes, that is correct.

When you call MS they will check the availability for your dates. If there is no availability you can then things would go as you say above.
