How does trading work now?

I noticed when i logged in all my items were "stacked" if I had multiples.
Does this now mean that instead of 5 pins taking up 5 slots in a trade they would take up only 1?
The reason I ask is I havent played since August an and on the verge of giving stuff away, and want to do as few trades as possible.

no they hit the trade window in the same manner, just show up stacked in your inventory.
