i am still trying to help my friend in maine plan her trip

she is going to be in disney for 8 days with a 7 day park hopper tied to her mde account

she wants a break in the middle of the trip

when she is making fast pass reservations will she run into an issue making passes for the 8th day since she has only a 7 day ticket?

No, you have 14 days from first use to use up the days on a ticket. Taking a break in the middle of the trip will be fine.
