I've just been messing around with MDE and I was able to book FP+ for MK on May 29th. How is it possible for me to do that when I have in tickets and no reservation for that date ??

It's a glitch. I got to book my Epcot FP's way out too. It kept opening up another day, one day at a time and then suddenly it stopped. Cash in while you can!

Alyson, no need to book fireworks and parades. I have booked none of these because there were other attractions I felt were far better use of our FP selections. You can still stake out your spot as you normally would.
I'm also not looking forward to it ....... Not due whether to book for our morning park or our evening park ??
My point of this thread was that it appears I can book FP+ for mid June even though we're not going until October and this just makes me even more dubious about the whole thing

actually, the system works as it's supposed to work.
You have tickets, wether standalone or part of a package.
Your resort reservation is not until october, so you're considered to be an offsite guest until then
but the system sees your tickets, and offsite guests can book FP+ 30 days out (mid may for mid june)
the only thing that doesn't work like it's supposed to, is that package tickets are not supposed to be available before check in (or 3 days before if some CM still goes by the old policy of advance ticket pickup)
The only problem here is that the system considers that your tickets are already valid (which they might be, you never know with disney)
