Ok, so let's say I want to spend Christmas at my home resort BWV. I am assuming now with the new 7 day ressie policy that everyone who can and wants to will book 7 days prior to the 25th to get first (and probably only) real crack at it. This means I call on the 18th, which is 11 months and 7days out... is that right?
If so, the new policy seems to favor higher point holders. Am I wrong in thinking the people who reserve a full seven days out have a great advantage over those who only want (or have the points for) a shorter trip?
Looking at my scenario it would take 242 points to reserve from Saturday thru Christmas (the earliest possible opportunity). I only have 200 points. So I would have to borrow to make that a possibility.
If I placed a 7 day ressie can I cancel some of those days later or is it a contiguous unsplittable ressie? If I can cancel some days how is it determined whether regular or borrowed points are returned to the account?
OR... can I just reserve say just 3 nights still with the last night being 11 months & 7 days out?
Hope all that makes sense... Thanks for any help
