How does this work- availability???

Ok...I am wondering something...

We are currently booked at the Pop for Jan 1-5. We wanted to stay at the ASMo for Dec. 31-Jan. 5 instead but no availability.

I am hoping for a good AP rate to come out soon. How does this work with availability?

IF/When the AP rate comes out, does that open up a block of rooms that "weren't available" before or do you just change the rates on your current ressie?

In other words, is there a possibility of getting the dates (really want the New Years Eve night ...know it won't be AP discounted though but can I get a room) and/or resort (really want ASMo for my ds who loves Toy Story) I wanted if I can as soon as AP rates come out...if they do...?????

doesn't open up rooms...if they have rooms available, they have rooms available.

You may get lucky if there's cancellations for the days you want. But they do not hold back rooms for these deals. The deals are incentive to book rooms they have not been able to book otherwise.

Don't think they offer deals on New Year's Eve...they usually have no trouble booking up for a special occasion like that. If there's a deal offered for the days after New Years, the discount rate would be applied only to those days (and you'd have to call to get it applied...they won't automatically apply it to an existing reservation.)
