I booked our trip 5 night trip using the AP discount. Because of the dates of the discounts, I had to make 2 reservations for the same room type. Basically I booked 3 nights under the late summer passholder rate and 3 nights under the Fall passholder rate.

The CM said I would need to check out of my room on Sept. 30th and check back in. She said it is possible that I would need to move rooms. I definitely do not want to do this. Has this ever happened to anyone?

You will have to check out and check back in, but make sure you have the 2 reservations linked and put a request that you would like to keep the same room. Also, when you check in for the first reservation, tell the CM that you have a continuing reservation and would like to avoid changing rooms if possible. It is not guaranteed that you will not have to move, but Disney will do everything possible to accommodate you. Good luck and have a great trip :).

I did almost the same thing for our last two trips (just used different discounts than you used). I did as the previous posters suggested...I booked the rooms and then called to make sure that they noted the fact that we wanted to keep the same room. I mentioned it again when we checked in and she said that the notation was in the computer that it was a "continuing" reservation. We did have to check out and then back in but we were able to keep the same room for the entire trip.
