how does this title fit within vmk guidelines?

last night I saw a player. His name was private_parts. I am NOT joking!! How does this one fit within their guidelines, but a name like DisneyLlama does not? I didn't report it, because after my threat of being banned last night, I'll just keep my mouth shut!

I have also seen two players who had there proper names as titles one was RyanMiller????? How is this possible? Who knows... I have also seen so much foul language in the last few days I have to keep reminding myself I am (trying) to play a Disney game!! And when I say foul I mean absolutely the worst I have ever seen! And no I did not report any of them since it would only result in getting ME banned for FALSE reporting!

Report offensive titles through the Contact Us link, not the in-game help. I've not heard of anyone being banned for using the Contact Us link. I have reported a few bad titles myself. I don't know how they got through the filters...some were REALLY bad.

I believe we can report bad titles through the Report feature without a
problem. From what I'm seeing, it looks like the "beware of a ban" is a
canned response due to probable abuse of the Report feature.

When the report is reviewed, and they see the player's title and the reason
for the report, nobody shouldn't get into trouble for that. That's a totally
legit complaint.

But I agree with Mims that you don't have the limited dictionary using Contact Us,
so it would be easier to explain and report through that feature.

Yeah, and the kid I saw last week called FunBigToy? And when you clicked on him, his signature was so bad I would not post it on this board. That is a PM topic only. But so many people are being made to change their name for the Disney reference? Yep, it all makes sense to me.

I think vmk is becoming a non-disney " product". I think they up and sold out to some other company and soon we will be seeing less and less of disney influence in VMK.


I also think they/ we are going to find a lot less " decent" people playing and it is going to turn into another " hobo hotel" or whatever that game is called.

Like someone else said on another thread " the exit is calling to me"

Yeah.. thats a good point. Maybe VMK was sold to some other thing. I just hope my friends on VMK dont leave, cause its not disney related anymore.. And i hope it doesn't turn into a ' Habbo Hotel ' game.. EH

I reported someone's sig to vmk in-game about a month ago, and did not get a ban warning. Just the standard..you can choose to ignore them message. The other day... I saw a vmk name that was something like hot hootchee. I thought I was seeing things. It was while in a game of fireworks.

As funny as that is, it is wrong in so many ways.

I see quite a few questionable names these days. What I would like to know is who is approving these names. Maybe VMKShorty, he can't read.

I reported for the signature I mentioned above and got a "we will check it out/use the ignore" message. I know you can report them....I think the 'you could be banned' message is an accidentally push of a button.
