Hi I just talked to my travel agent and was given a quote for a family of 4 flying out of detroit on spirit airlines, staying Oct17-24 at ASMo and 7day base tickets with no exipry for approx $3000 canadian. I don't think it sounds too bad I just have to check with my hubbie and see what our income tax return will be like. I would appreciate some feed back if you think this is a sweet deal or does it sound too much Thanks Kat

I did some checking and here's what I found:
Spirit Airlines for 4 people round trip - $667.60 US
ASMo 2 adults/2 kids under 9 for your dates with No expiry/ no parkhopper priveldges tix $1784.44 US for a total of $2452.04 US which should be right around $3000 cdn. The Spirit airlines tix were a special promo, so don't wait too long to book them at that price.

Thanks Peggy That's exactly what i priced out. I'm just waiting for the big boss man to come home from work, to run it by him. Did it say how long the promo goes on for? I'll likely book in the next week or two. When i compared the new quote in canadian funds to the original quote without flying it was a difference of $640 canadian and I know that driving we'd be looking at roughly $500 with gas and motels on the way down and then there would be wear and tear on the van. Thanks for your input I thougt it was a good deal I just have to convice the chicken that is my husband who is afraid of flying to quote him "if a car crashes i can walk, if a boat sinks i can swim, if a plane crashes i have yet to learn how to fly" What a Baby. Ijust hope he doesn't check this one out HEHEHE
