How does this sound for formal night?

I'm trying to decide what to pack for my husband for forma night...how does this sound?

Tan dress slacks
Navy blue blazer
white dress shirt
Disney tie.

He doesn't own a suit or a tux...mostly because he rarely dresses up and when he does, I prefer blazers and slacks as opposed to suits.

Will that work well for formal night?

If that is what he has it will be fine. As many have said on this board before follow the suggestions of Disney but wear what you feel comfortable in.

When we sailed I saw a few men in jackets with no tie (I probably wouldn't have noticed had it not been for this board) and some with no jacket at all. As long as you husband is not in shorts and a tank top everyone will be happy

That sounds fine. As long as your husband is wearing a tie and jacket he'll look great on formal night
