OK so been reading like a manic the food options and have decided on the following for evenings food, interested to know your opinions on these:

1 - King Ludwig castle
2_ Annette's diner
3 - chuck wagon or billy bobs
4 - rainforest cafe
5 - planet Hollywood
6 - toad hall

We have no idea what time we would prefer to eat but are reservations necessary we are going on the 13th march so will it be busy?

Many thanks

Be aware that Toad Hall might not be open in the evening. Might be a better lunch plan.

None of your choices are ones that I would make, but plenty of people enjoy those restaurants, so if the menus and prices look good to you then go for it. :)

Never had a bad meal in Annette's diner, although the menu has changed a bit over he years. If your having a burger there and don't like pink meat ask for well done

bear in mind also that you can't book in advance for any of your choices apart from Billy Bobs or the Chuck Wagon, and if you intend eating after the park closes you will be queueing at all of those restaurants to get a table. You should be fine if you intend eating say after the parade and before Dreams though.

Toad Hall was open during the day only last week, it started closing at around 5pm.

Toad hall will be on the day we leave so thats fine, ive tried to select ones that will please everyone with strong pleases for planet Hollywood a Mexican the rainforst and an American diner and oh a bit of something different so I tried fo covrr all that

Did you look at La Grange at Billy Bobs for the Mexican?

We really enjoyed it, and probably better offerings than Chuck Wagon (I've not been there though)

EDIT:

Ooops - Just saw you have Billy Bobs on the list - my vote is for that one!

Yes have it on the lisr but good to know you rate that more than chuck wagon so will go with that one instead

We tried Annette's for the first time this past weekend....thought the atmosphere was great, very much like an American diner. But we all thought the food was just ok...we even asked for well done burgers, and they were still pink. Ice. :crazy2:

We'd probably go back again, but knowing we're paying for the vibe more than the food. ;)

Billy bobs is great too, although the food last time wasn't as good as the other times

We always enjoy Annettes, and looking forward to trying rainforest cafe for the first time on our next visit.
Have a fab time whereever you eat :goodvibes

I couldn't agree more. I really don't rate the Chuckwagon at all. Billy Bobs is far superior in my opinion! :cheer2:

The atmosphere at Rainforest Cafe is great, the food is quite expensive but I have eaten there 3 times in both DLP and London and I would definitely go back!

My kids love King Ludwigs and the rainforest cafe, also my two eldest love the chuck wagon [I think for sentimental reasons...first Disney holiday etc, but also the salad bar] we have never in 7 trips to DLRP done Annettes or Billy Bobs so can't help with them, and we have always meant to try Toad hall. Planet Hollywood was very run down when we went but that was in 2003...I'm sure its been upgraded since then ;) . We always make dinner reservations to be safe, unfortunately i don't think you can with the rainforest...I think it's just a case of going and waiting>>>>> K

Im not a fan of annettes at all, the food is ok for what it is but i think its over priced!! Havnt done rainforest but would love to .

Im another fan of Annettes - we mostly do Cafe Mickey lol as its the boys choice - but we did have an unfortunate meal at the rainforest Cafe - Every dish was stone cold and we did send it back only to have fresh chips put on the plates - they didn't even microwave the other items:mad:

King ludwigs I think didn;t look that apeaking from the outside but aybe the food is good?

MASSIVE fans of the Chuck Wagon here! Cheap and loads of choice :-) All 8 of us will be eating there in May. If money was no option, then Inventions would get our vote over it but seeing as it is *lol* then Chuck Wagon for us.

Thank you for replying and for your feedback, I am now very excited to not only go on all the rides but also try all the yummy food :-) my husband thinks I've gone crazy and really doesn't get the whole Disney thing so I am glad I can share my planning with someone!
