Hey everyone! This is our first trip to wdw as a family and I need some input on my plan. There are 4 adults and 3 kids ages 9,6,4. We'll be at SSR with free dining.

15- arrival, DTD, Dinner at Raglan Road
16- RD MK, long afternoon break, MVMCP
17- Epcot (RD?), dinner at Tutto Italia Ristorante
18- HS, lunch at 50's Primetime
19- RD AK, Lunch at Tusker House
20- MK?, DTD, dinner at Planet Holleywood
21- RD MK, afternoon break, late dinner at California Grill during Wishes
22- late start at MK, lunch at CP
23- depart

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

You have some small children as well as big ones. What happen to the character meal?

It doesn't matter how old you are character dinning is the easiest and fastest way to meet them up close.

Looks good to me. You've got 2 character meals (including our favorite CP).

We're RD people, and best piece of advice I got before our first trip was the mid-day breaks, they make a HUGE difference. Our Feb trip this past year was 3 adults & 4 kids (ages 6, 9, 12 & 15)... Not everyone needed the mid-day breaks so there were a few days where some of us would head back to the resort, and a couple others would stay in the park or park hop to another park. The 6 & 9 year old definitely needed the breaks.

Other best advice I got was to relax, and do what you do... It's Disney & you'll NEVER be able to do EVERYTHING, so take that pressure off (ie, the recording running through your brain that says "We paid $XXX for this trip, we've got to cram as much in as we can!"). Just enjoy each moment as it comes.

Did you plan your park days with EMH in mind? We typically take advantage of the A.M EMH for rope drop.

Thanks! I'll have to double check EMH... I feel like I've changed my plans 100 times already and we still have six months to go!

For me planning is half the fun... so enjoy that as well.

We've only ever taken advantage of A.M EMH so I can only speak with those... typically taking advantage of the AM EMH is only beneficial if you are there at rope drop, and leave around lunchtime or early afternoon when crowds are building.

looks good and we love going to raglan road!! enjoy ssr, we stayed there before and it was wonderful! CP is so good and I love the pooh characters! we will be there the same week, hey we only have 5 months and 14 days!!!! Have fun planning! my number one tip is get there early, and the mid breaks are nice and then your well rested to go back to parks in the evenings or dinner. don't forget to do photopass and order a photo calendar when you get back for $25.00!!!

Woo-hoo! Thanks everyone! My husband and I went last year while we were in Orlando for a conference. It was last minute and I did very little planning. I knew I wanted to get started early this time! We're taking the kids for the first time and my in laws (it's their 30th anniversary!)

I've been reading up on the boards, but now that its getting closer... EEKK! I'm trying not to get obsessed lol.
