I understand that there is a 10% tip added if you eat there. For that all they do is seat you and bring you drink refills (if you are lucky to get them to come back), right? Do you go up to the counter to order your food or do you turn in some kind of ticket? Do they bring it to you, do you wait there for it at the counter, or do you go back up to get it? Do you pay for everything at one place or are there different areas for different kinds of foods? What is this about "take out" orders and going to the front of the line? Someone please enlighten me! I hate going somewhere and then wasting 1/2 hr trying to figure out the system.

I seem to remember it like this - You are shown to a table and order your drinks. They give you a card, which you take to the food station of your choice, where you order your food, receive it and take it back to your table. They mark your card so the cashier knows what you ordered. Then you pay on the way out (after you have eaten). We didn't do take out, so I don't know about that. We were there a year ago in June and enjoyed the few meals we ate there.

You are shown to your table by the dining room host. They give each member of your party their own ticket. When you sit at your table, your waiter will take your drink order. Then you go check out the food stations..order what you want, wherever, the person at the food station will stamp for each item you purchase. You wait for your food to be finished and then you take your own food back to your table. No one brings your food to you.

We have tried many of the foods in the pepper market..none are good, especially the mexican. If you are not staying there and have to eat there, then do not make a special trip over. This is some of the worst food on all of disney property. Free dining or not..it is not worth eating there.

For take out, you still wait in the line. Then when you get to the podium you tell the host/hostess that you want to take it to go and they give you cards that are stamped "To go" Then you go right to the food "kitchens" , get what you want and go to the cash register and pay.

Edited to add that we think Pepper Market has GREAT food. The servers are nice and we never had trouble getting our drinks refilled. If you like Mexican food, try the beef quesadillas. The breakfast platter (eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, muffin or biscuit) was huge and enough to feed 3 of us.

The Pepper market is awesome! We have tried everything there from pasta to pizza, burgers to tacos and much more. We have always had great meals there and feel it is the best food court in WDW by far! Much fresher than food courts at other mods and values.

I agree The Pepper Market is one of the best in WDW resorts. So much to offer and always very good. You have several different selections for dinner and even with our refillable mugs, whenever we were there, they refilled them for us we didn't have to get up. Love the salads and my DS also loved the pasta station, I think she had a crush on the server!!

If you want a quick breakfast in the morning before heading out to the parks, instead of having a sit down with eggs and whatnot we went right next to the Pepper Market where they have Fruit and ceral or muffins and pastries just to get something quick before heading out for the day. Saves money and time!

Have a great trip!

Have had several meals at PM & have enjoyed them all. Especially liked the chicken quesidillas, chicken fajitas & taco salad.

Pepper Market is an awesome food court because they have so much variety! You can have Chinese one night, omelettes, sandwhiches, Grilled steaks and burgers, and still have those Mickey Waffles you always crave!! Well, u walk in tell the host the amount of people and the host assigns you a table. They ask what drink you want and then you go to the different food bars with a tray and order any different kinds of foods you want (like an oldschool cafeteria) and when you walk back to your table to get eat your food your drinks are already there. You eat your food and then go to a counter with your receipt and an employee tells how much your food costs. Very neat service there! :lovestruc
