How does the heat and humidity compare to Orlando?

I can tell you that 2 weeks ago at DW it was sweltering. Being from Ohio I thought that I would be prepared for the humidity but I wasn't. Once we got on ship and in the Bahamas - the heat was there but the humidity was bearable. Hope this helps.

Actually, we have found it to be nicer than Orlando. You almost always have breezes and there is not as much land to hold the heat in. IMHO the sun can be hotter so take precautions with it. Hope this helps.

I thought it was pretty oppressive on the Eastern in late May. Definitely too hot/humid to leave our verandah door open. We could only open it when we went out there. Otherwise, the A/C was immediately overwhelmed.
