How does the coupon train work?

Here is the link to the train conducted by Shipoopwner, t's a good train to be part of. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2470316 The gist of it is in the first post, but essentially you will be part of a group of individuals who are sending coupons back and forth. There is someone that you send coupons to and a person that sends coupons to you, they are not the same person. When I was part of the above train there were over 50 people participating, so lots of coupons going around.

You take the coupons that you want form the envelope that you receive in the mail and then add your own coupons to the stack, removing any that have expired or are about to. Sometimes you'll see lots of the same coupons, other times they vary. You can also include coupons for certain stores (ie: bed bath and beyond % off mailer coupons) in addition to the manufacturers coupons. Plus you can place a request for certain coupons. While there is no guarantee that you will see them, other riders can keep their eyes open for them and send them directly to you. For instance, one member wanted soy milk coupons and I had a bunch, so I sent the conductor a request for their address and sent an envelope of coupons directlythem, along with my standard envelope to my buddy for the week.

I hope this helps.
