How does raise work?

We just planned a trip for this year. I am thinking of trying raise to obtain disney cards for food cost. I do not have a target debit card due to their last snafu, I had to reopen a checking acct etc., but a friend has it and would do some target cards if not too painful. So is the raise target card electronically sent to you and then you type in that info?

Or should I stick with buy target cards from kroger at 4 times rewards. Buy gas and keep that savings from the budget envelope and use towards disney. and have friend buy disney cards with her debit card and then put in purchased cards from kroger?

A lot is very dependent on how much you're saving with the fuel perks vs. purchasing the discounted Target GCs on Raise. Sometimes, the discount on Raise is pretty substantial. Then, there are other times when the discount on Target GCs is pretty pitiful (right now it's a paltry 2.0%at most because of the PayPal Target discount that people jumped on).

Raise is completely sold out of target cards right now.
