I went to PI about 6 years ago and had a ball.
well since then we had have 4 children ( a 4 year old and 1 year old triplets).
well my mother in law is watching all the kids for us on sunday night!
someone else booked us a room at saratoga springs!
we live in tampa so will just drive over sunday and come back monday evening.
we are also annual pass holders.
but...
how does PI work now?
it use tobe pay 1 addmision and enjoy any club for free.

We do plan on drinking since we never drink.
we hope there is transportation to the hotel but guess it may be walking distance also.

is it nice and busy o sunday?
do you pay per club?
can you walk in and out of the clubs freely without having to pay over and over again?
any tips?
we are 27 years old and like all types of music.
this time we have no friends going and pray we will have fun.

still the same - only difference is the street shows are gone.

they let teens in this area.

So I don't know if you still take one drink club to club like you use too.

I still love Adventure Club.

but your just might like Jellyrolls over on the BW a little better?

SSR is beautiful. You will love it.

you either walk back to SSR or take the bus. I would definitely walk over - waiting on a bus can be a pain....

With 4 young kids including triplets, you deserve a getaway!

The difference now with Pleasure Island is that the whole island is now open to anyone to walk through and shop for free. You only need to pay admission if you're going into any of the clubs. The only exception to that is the Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant, which is free to all. I believe the price of admission is $21.95 which lets you into all clubs. If you're a AAA member I think you can get a discounted ticket at AAA offices in advance that knocks about $2 off that price. There is now also a $9.95 ticket that lets you into 1 club of your choosing. You won't want that one.

Once you have your admission ticket you go straight to whatever club you wish to begin at. The turnstyles at the entry of the island are gone since it's now free to come on the island. When you get to your first club they swipe your ticket, check your ID and issue you that evening's wristband. There may be a line to get in at your first club, with others doing the same thing. For any subsequent clubs you go to you don't need to get into that line; just look for the "re-rentry" sign or ask someone working by the door and you can go right in.

Sundays are hit & miss as far as crowds go. If you're talking about this Sunday then crowds could be pretty decent since school is not in session everywhere and there are still plenty of tourists. Labor Day weekend should be very crowded. There is a lot of demolition going on as both stages were torn down and the long building which previously held a number of stores and a fast food restaurant are being torn down to open up Pleasure Island to the lake behind it. But all the clubs are operational:

MOTION has Top 40 music and videos and a very young crowd; the
ROCK'N'ROLL BEACH CLUB has a live band and/or DJ take turns with rock music; 8TRAX is 70's disco and increasingly early 80's dancing songs; BET SOUNDSTAGE is hip hop & booty music and my favorite MANNEQUINS, still dance, trance, techno with the revolving dance floor! Doesn't get crowded until 11:30pm so save this one for last. The COMEDY CLUB & ADVENTURER'S CLUB are still there too.

No more roller skating club, no more country music and no more midnight fireworks. Yes, you can carry your drink from club to club. There will be bus service from SSR. Have fun!!
