How does Nights of Joy affect attendance?

I realize that NOJ is a separately ticketed event, but how much does it impact attendance at MK OR ANY OF THE OTHER PARKS on those days (in the daytime)? Also, does it affect attendance during the entire week (for example, do youth groups "make a week" of it), or is it really just limited to those two nights?

We are thinking about going the first week in Sept (beginning the day after Labor Day) and just wondered...

Also, does anyone know what hotel the youth groups stay at?

DIdn't seem to make any difference when we went in Sept 2001. The only thing was that the MK closed early on 2 nights.

We noticed last year that most of the youth groups come only for NOJ and do not affect attendance during the day.

Just wanted to confirm the previous two posts. You will not notice much of a difference if you notice one at all.

Yes, confirmation on the other posts. The only difference NOJ seems to make is the MK closing early on that night. The youth groups only come for that event. Our church youth group attends most years.
