How does my rough draft touring plan look 1st attempt

Should I be worried about how quick I get a Fast Pass for Woc it looks like theres only one show that day at 8:30 6/2. Also why d I keep seeing reference to buzz fast passes on the website it says its not part of the program

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but FP availability for WOC has quieted down a lot since last summer. I believe that if you grab a WOC FP by early afternoon, you will be fine. Again, someone correct me if I am wrong.

There used to be Buzz FP machines, but they were taken down very recently. They actually got turned into FP machines for the new Star Tours. So there is probably some old references to Buzz. Sorry for the confusion! :)

Thanks also last question guys it looks like its grad night at Disneyland on 6/2 . Should I be worried about that affecting any of my plans for that day? I would think not since its late at night but thought I would ask .

Here is the thread on Grad Nights by HydroGuy: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2298400&highlight=grad+night

Excerpt:
How do Grad Nights affect regular visitors?

The events are chaperoned and thus attendees are not allowed to freely roam the area around DLR. The attendees are only allowed to come in on buses (no individual drivers) and are guided into the parks and are not allowed to leave the parks until closing at 6AM. At that point attendees are guided back to their buses. Thus there are no issues with high schoolers being disruptive to guests outside the parks.

Grad Nights do impact park hours for regular visitors. Typically on Grad Nights the parks close early - DL closes at 9PM and DCA closes at 6PM. With the parks closing earlier it also means that it is uncertain any night time entertainment such as Fantasmic and fireworks will be scheduled. In 2009 DL did offer nighttime entertainment a few times on grad nights. In 2010 they expanded this and moved fireworks and Fantasmic to earlier showings. In general be aware that if you plan trips on days with grad nights it is less certain what entertainment may be offered.

Grad Nights also impact Magic Mornings (MM) at DL. If there is a Grad Night the previous night (with DL open until 6AM) then MM will not be held.

The current schedule for MM is Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday. The typical Thursday night/Friday morning Grad Nights do not affect MM because there is no MM on Friday morning. However, the occasional Wednesday night/Thursday morning Grad Night will interfere with the normal Thursday morning MM and hence that MM will be re-scheduled or cancelled. Check the DLR website once the May/June calendars are posted to confirm.

On the one Wednesday grad night in 2010 on June 16, the normal June 17 MM was moved to Wednesday June 16. Same thing in 2011 for the June 8 grad night.

Typically Grad Nights do have fireworks so if you are staying near the parks you may hear them and have some potential sleep disruption.

HTH! :goodvibes

Good catch NavyDad.

Arch is correct. Buzz FPs are no longer (having been switched to the Star Tours attraction).

If Hydroguy sees this hopefully he'll mention this in his FP superthreads.

& fwiw, Buzz is a great ride to enjoy late in a MM or early on any day. It's a fast loader & many enjoy riding it multiple times.

So the only reason I changed my 1st park day from 6/3 to 6/2 was to avoid the crowds because of the openings. Do you guys think the crowds will be lower now then expected? would love to be able to go Friday instead of Thursday since we fly in late Wednesday

does magic moring hours affect touring or fast pass distribution in any way if I get there at open normal hours

So I read the thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1675403

So it looks like my touring should start with adventure and new orleans square. I have a new question though I read somewhere that the MM is offered if you have park hopper plus bonus but on the thread it says

Who? There are two ways of gaining the opportunity of using MM.
1) Buying ANY ticket of 3 or more days. This will entitle the ticket holder to one MM admission. There are some exceptions such as Gay Day tickets and convention tickets, but most big name ticket sellers have MM eligible tickets

Does that mean that since I'm getting the three day park hopper military tickets I can use the MM?

Unfortunately, the downside of the discounted military 3-days is that they do NOT include a Magic Morning. Sorry!

If the early mornings starts at 7am do ticket booths open up that early? I ask because I want to get my tickets as early as I can before official open .

I will update the MM superthread with this info.

Yes, the ticket booths would be open even earlier than 7 if MM starts at 7.

I just want to add that I am only replying with information that I have read on this and other websites. I have not used the military hoppers first-hand so I am not 100% positive about the MM, just have heard from reputable sources and websites that it's not available with the special pricing.

You can also pick them up the night before if you don't want to wait in line that morning! :)

So we are arriving at Disneyland at 6:55am and I will buy the tickets and be in line by 7:20am

Morning looks like this
Peter Pan's Flight
Snow White's Scary Adventures
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
Alice in Wonderland
Mickey's House
Minnie's House
Small World
Pinocchio's Daring Journey

Ride Max has us being done with this by 11:10am walking at a slow speed.

11:30am we will grab lunch and catch the Jedi Show then after lunch head out to DCA.

DCA 12:30pm
Monsters, Inc.
Muppet Vision 3-D
It's Tough to Be a Bug!
Jumpin' Jellyfish
Mickey's Fun Wheel

Ridemax has us being done by 4:00

We then would like to do dinner at ESPN Zone and be back at disneyland to see Soundsational parade at 6:35 what time should I make reservations for dinner ?

In case people are wondering why no big rides refer to this thread
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2726717

Then we plan on either Fireworks or World of color

I'd put Alice second because that always seems to have a long line, but otherwise, your plan looks fine. You also may be able to ride Pinocchio before Toontown opens at 9, depending on how quickly you get on Peter Pan. I also think you can get all of that done well before 11:10. If I were to estimate, you could do that morning plan before 10/10:30, even walking at a regular pace.
