Hi all!
So this is my families first ever trip (we are so excited!). We will be staying @ Wilderness Lodge and have 7 day park hoppers/family of four (11 y/o boy and 7 y/o girl at time of travel). I have a rough draft of our itinerary mapped out using a few different blogs.
Any suggestions advice are greatly appreciated!!
Sun 8/10 - Arrival (traveling from Savannah)/Hollywood Studios
Mon 8/11 -Epcot/630pm @ San Angel Inn/9pm Illuminations
Tue 8/12 - Magic Kingdom/11:25 @ Chef Mickey's/9pm Celebrate Magic/10pm Wishes
Wed 8/13 - Magic Kingdom/8am BBB/10am CRT/615 HDDR
Thur 8/14 - Animal Kingdom/6pm Mamma Melrose Fantasmic! Dinner Package
Fri 8/15 - Magic Kingdom/645 BOG
Sat 8/16 - Epcot or fav. park/7pm Ohana
Sun 8/17 - Check out/Check in @ Royal Pacific for a few days @ Universal

I'm pretty confident w/everything except for our Fantasmic! Dinner Package...should I switch this to our first night and leave Thursday night open? We are only traveling from Savannah so shouldn't be too tired....

We plan to hit the parks at RD most mornings and then go back to our resort for a rest/pool break in the afternoons then head back in the early evening for our schedule fastpasses.
HELP - How does everything else look?! Thanks in advance :grouphug:

My thoughts in red.

If it opens at 8:00, you'll have 3 hours before you need to leave, but if it opens at 9:00, you'll only have 2 hours. honestly, I'd choose more park time over Chef Mickey's. Also, you'll be up late to see Wishes and up early the next day for BBB. Is that going to work for your DD?Wed 8/13 - Magic Kingdom/8am BBB/10am CRT/615 HDDRYou're missing a lot of actual MK time between your BBB apt and your CRT meal and then leaving the park for dinner.

You didn't really say what time of the day you would be arriving but I think that wouldn't be to gruelling of a first evening although if you just hung around the resort or went to Downtown Disney the first night you would only have to get 6 day tickets. I know there's not a huge price difference but every little bit helps.

I like that you left Saturday open for whatever, you could always spend some time at Hollywood Studios on that day if you don't go the first night.

I think you'll realize that HS deserves a full day. I would try to squeeze it in. Possibly do Epcot and HS on that free Saturday.
