How does MK EMH Affect Regular Crowds Once Park Opens

I am heading up to WDW March 10-13 and staying in an off-site suite hotel. I just noticed that the EMH at MK is on Fridays (when we were expecting to go to MK). Since we are not staying in a Disney Resort Hotel we cant do the EMH. We were planning to get there a half hour before the gates open. How much of a difference will the EMH make on those people entering the park at 9am. Will there already be waits? :confused3

Any help would be appreciated. :flower:

Thanks.

Rebecca

Some rides will already have waits. If you can rearrange at all I would, otherwise, head to the rides that weren't open for EMH first to still get in a few w/ little to no waiting.

Good Idea! How can I find out what rides are open during the EMH (to then go to the other ones right when the park opens). Thanks!

Great :sad2: those are all the rides we love. I think we might do MGM on Friday while MK has the EMH (since DD (5) loves Ariel, Beauty & The Beast and DS (3) loves Playhouse Disney) then we will hit MK on Saturday morning bright and early and do what we can in the morning...head back to the hotel for naps and such and head back in the evening for some more rides.

Thanks again for all of the advice. So glad I found you guys :earboy2:

Just so you know, Sat is going to be a busy day too. Get there early!! If you are doing Fantasyland head directly there and start with Dumbo. Also use fast pass as much as possible. :teeth:

Thanks for the advice. We are planning to get to gates of the MK on that Saturday by 8:30am...so that we are there right when it opens. Luckily my kids arent that crazy for Dumbo...but what I was thinking was my sister could go with my daughter to Space Mountain first thing and I can go to Buzz Lightyear with my son while they do that. We are definately doing the FastPass every chance we get. I hope to do alot by 1pm - as the crowds become too unbearable and the kids become cranky :) .

When would you suggest coming back to MK that night to maybe catch up on a few rides that we missed and maybe see the night parade or fireworks?

Never been to MK or any other Disney park at night...so not sure how the crowds are (and I think on Saturday MK doesnt have the night time special hours). Do most people stay at MK all day and leave like at 5?

Thanks again.
