How does Mini Gay Days affect crowds?

I know the official gay day at Disneyland in October brings in a big crowd, but i am unfamiliar with the crowds mini gay days brings in?

I spend a night for mini gays days and GCH was packed and the parks were packed. Oddly, I hardly saw any red shirts. I think something else was going on that same weekend that brought in massive crowds of families. I wouldn't avoid that weekend because of mini gay days, because I think there weren't many people there for it. It was crazy busy, though. I don't know what was happening. Maybe there was a cheerleading thing. It seemed more like that. Super crowded and busy, but mostly with families of middle school aged kids.

We will be there on Saturday - which will be a busy park day regardless. We were there for goth days one year and it had minimal impact on crowd levels. We plan to go for Magic Morning at 7AM that day and take an afternoon break returning in the evening to hopefully use some FPs we have on our MP.

No really but Food and Wine opens the day before so that’s probably what you noticed the crowds from. Food and Wine weekends are usually mayhem.

As DizneyMommy said, its the start of Food and Wine Fest. so expect crowds from that, not so much from mini gay days.
