How does meeting princesses work?

I'm curious...can someone explain to me how meeting the princesses in MK works? My daughter is not a princess girl EXCEPT for Cinderella. Our plan is to get in that line first thing...will we also meet another princess? Is it horribly rude to only meet one? (or are they separate lines for each?) THANKS!

At the Princess Fairytale Hall in MK there are 2 lines, each of which brings you to a set of two princesses and you are directed to one, then the other. They kinda manage the lines this way but I am sure if you wanted to not meet one of the two, just tell a CM and they'll take care of it. I wouldn't consider it rude. Some kids get a little afraid around characters and such, so I'm sure it happens all the time. Logistically it may be easier to skip the second princess instead of the first one, but I'm sure CM's will be as accommodating as possible. I've never actually been in there, so I'm not 100% sure on the setup.

We were there in September, its definitely a good idea to arrive at rope drop and head straight to Fairytale Hall. The Cinderella meet is with her and Aurora now I think but will be Elena at the end of November. Once you meet one, its easy to meet the other.

You go through the line for Cinderella and the other princess. There are two princesses in there, Cinderella and another visiting princess. Once you are allowed into the room, there is another much shorter line in there. When it is your turn, you meet the first princess and then go over to the second with usually little or no wait for the second. Really, you aren't saving much time by skipping one. You could really skip either. If you skip the first, it may mess up the flow of traffic to the second so you will be waiting a min there. If you skip, the second one, you can just walk by the second and out the door.

Thanks. I'm not worried about the time saved by skipping the second princess - I just don't want to be rude! Good to know that we can give the CM a heads up that it's likely my daughter will only be interested in Cinderella (especially since we've never seen the new Elena show).

It's not rude. Disney has seen everything and been asked everything.

My daughter was scared of Aladdin when we met him and Jasmine in Adventureland. When we got to the front I told the handler that she only wanted Jasmine. So we just met Jasmine and Aladdin stood to the side.

I asked her why she was afraid of Aladdin but not Peter Pan who we'd met. She said something about how Aladdin is a strong man and Peter Pan is not. So I passed that info on to Aladdin so he could know how manly he looked in his costume!

Last time we were at Magic Kingdom we went and met Tiana and Naveen. They little boy infront of us was in love with Princess Tiana. Telling us all about her. It was adorable. But then we saw she was with Naveen. He really didn't like Naveen. He really really wanted Princess Tiana all to himself and was upset Naveen was there. His parents quietly mentioned this to the CM in line. When the family approached Naveen slipped out of the gazebo while they met with just Tiana. When they left Naveen slipped back into the gazebo.

So whatever you want to do will work. Disney aims to please :)
