I really had intentions of posting some pre trip activities, but they are turned into a disaster. So instead we will start with yesterday, arrival day. I may try and add comments about leading up to the fort, but since it seems like no live trip reports at the moment, let's kick the tires and light the fires.

We got here yesterday at 2 ish. There was quite a line to get checked in. We have site 702, last time was 704. We like 704 better it is a bit wider. Took us a while to set up. We always clean the front of the rig when we get there.

This was after cleaning you can make out Yeti looking out.

Next on to dinner at Citrico's. We stopped at MK after that to check out the hub. I did not take any pics, du-oh, but I really liked it. Place was packed though.

Came back and walked dogs and slept hard.

Mallory is a very fortunate dog. And it looks like a beautiful arrival day yesterday.

The grass looks greener than when we arrived. Let's see the pics in the TR.

I will post pics Chris, but am not the photog. I take pics with my iPhone 6. Definitely not as good as yours, but we need a live trip report and I am happy to oblige.

Another TR!

Ya! This is the best kind of DIS surprise.

We will be following along on all of Mallory 's (and your) adventures.

Monday we had to work. Yes that is how we afford the money and time to come often. The good thing was the weather was crap. It rained all day. We managed to find some dry time after work to walk the dogs. Then it rained as we headed to Territory Lounge for dinner and drinks. Came back and walked dogs and then sat outside. Sorry not to many pics when we are stuck in all day. I did get one though on Monday night.

Headed to bed and work again on Tuesday but I have a few more pics.

Tuesday we slept in a bit but at least there was no rain. We had to work again today but this was the last day for the week.

Mallory was sleepy this morning.

At lunch we walked the dogs and I got some pics. Seems everyone loves the pics.

Most of the loops are full. Very few empty spots. Mike hope we get to see you. We walked through 300. We know you are here. Mallory is doing ok. She has slowed down. I can tell her shoulders are bothering her, but she still keeps going. She moved from a 10 min mile to a 12 min mile. She wants to go the same distance just takes her longer.

While we were walking we came across this guy. Tiggerdad you might remember him.

Yeeesss! Mallory is my kinda dog!
Squirrel enthusiast just like me! You can tell by the perked up ears, it just says "SQUIRREL!"

Tuesday we had beautiful weather. My in laws came for dinner. We went to the Trattoria Al Forno on the boardwalk. I will admit I had low expectations, but the food was really good. Portions were quite large and prices not too crazy. They also had an extensive wine list with reasonable prices. We had mussels in a tomato curry sauce. It was excellent and different from the typical Chardonnay wine sauce. I had the lamb shank, it was tender and huge. DH had the beef bolognese. He really enjoyed that. MIL had lasagna and FIL had the carbonara. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We took a lap around the boardwalk to walk off the food coma, then back to the fort. The in laws went back to the villages and we sat outside with the dogs.

The rest of the week could have some fun weather HOT and rain.

Wednesday the plan is to go to DHS. I would like to get a run in first this morning and I kind of need to be on a work call at 9. I tried really hard not to do any work especially today. We are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. We are headed to the Bull and the Bear for dinner tonight. Only bad thing is I have had a lot of beef this trip.

Yes Tiggerdad squirrel enthusiast. She would not let me leave. She was excited the squirrel was talking to her. Maybe they were making a date for dinner.

Well good morning, it was so nice to see you guys last night and to meet Mom and Dads Corgi. Mallory looked great she told me the only reason she slowed up on her mile walk was because she thought you and dad needed a break from the fast pace. As you are well aware we are dog people and we like all dogs but I have to admit I just LOVE Mallory. We will see you before you leave...

My anniversary present to DH was that I got up and ran and I left him to sleep. I know the love. I got my run in and back just in time for my call. We then walked the dogs while it was cool. At 11 we were on our way to DHS. I was hoping to make our TSMM FP and we did. I really like the hat down and able to see the theater. Now just need the rest of the construction walks down.
