How does magic express work if check out is 11:00 and your flight isn't until 6:00?

My family is going to Disney world in February. We are only bringing carry on luggage. My flight home is at 6:00 ish pm but I know that check out is 11:00am at OKW. Can I leave my luggage with the bell men and go to a park for a few hours or shop? Will I have any difficulty retrieving it so I can carry it on to the bus so that it does not get loaded for my flight? How early does ME pick you up before a flight? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

ME generally picks you up 3 hours before your flight. You can leave your things with Bell Services and retrieve them near your pick up time.

When you make your ME reservation, you give your flight information --date and time--- and they tell you bus pick-up time. If you just have carry-on bags, bell services can pick up the bags or you can drop them off. at the stand outside the store/check-in areas.

i'd tell the bell man your departure time so your stuff doesn't get buried by too many others doing the same as you. there is express check-out and you can leave any time up to 11; leave earlier and go to a park; eat at Olivia's or take the boat to DTD for shopping and dining. so relax because many do just as you plan and the CM's are well versed n meeting these schedules.

might run over to EPcot - but just for 2 hours - less you have annual pass might not be worth it.

be sure to start looking for a bus to bring you back to OKW at 2:00pm - or an hour before your bus leaves for MCO.

if it gets to be 15minutes and still no bus - go take a taxi back to OKW

Luggage taken on DME for your return flight will not be checked with your airline. Only luggage checked in at the "Return Airline Check IN" locations will be checked with the airline.

We fly Southwest and have to carry are own luggage because SWA doesn't participate in the RAC.

Make sure you allow plenty of time to retrieve your luggage from Bell Services and still make it to the DME bus stop 20 minutes prior to your bus departure time. On our last stay at OKW, we arrived at the bus stop just over 15 minutes ahead of time and were told that the bus was full and they didn't think they could accommodate us, despite the fact that we were scheduled for that particular bus. In the end there were just enough seats for us but others who arrived after us were left behind. The bus ended up leaving OKW at least 10 minutes early because it was completely full.
