How does it work when making reservations for CRT and using DDP?

I plan on making an ADR for CRT and using 2 of my table options, my concern is that according to everything I am reading I have to pay for it ahead of time is this true?

If you are using the ddp they will take your cc number as a guarantee (so they can charge you if you no-show or don't cancel by the deadline) but otherwise they will not charge your card. I haven't made a CRT ADR online, but when I've done it over the phone they need your resort reservation number to confirm that you have the DDP, so I believe if you book online you'd need to associate your resort res. number with it.
