We'll be there in Oct with our girls for the first time. We have the dining plan and my older dd who will be 5 is on the dp. My younger dd will still be 2 at the time and does not require tickets. How does this work at restaurants. Are we fine to give her food at the buffets or will they make us pay for her? What about places like Ohana and Garden Grill that are family style (we have adr's at both).

Thanks!

For buffets and family-style, she's free. I think they'll even bring a drink for her.
For regular restaurants, it's up to you. We usually just fed DS off our plates, or ordered him something small (an extra side that we knew he'd eat, or something).

Glad to know, but chrachter meals will take the 1or 2 ts per person? No matter if the shared a plate or not?

Depends on the meal.

At a buffet there is no charge for under 3s, they can "eat off your plate" from the buffet.
At a table service they can either eat from your plate or you can pay for a meal for the under 3. If you order a meal for them then you have to pay for it with either cash or dining plan credits. If you use the dining plan credit for the under 3 then that is one less credit for the 5 yr old to use. Or you could order an extra side for them and pay cash.
