how does end of March weather compare to Mid Oct?

We've been in mid-Oct when we've worn shorts and tshirts. How does end of March weather compare?

Hi,

Average temperatures for the end of March: Highs around 80, lows in the upper 50s.

Average temperatures for the middle of October: Highs in the mid 80s, lows in the mid 60s.

There is more variability in March...you could still get chilly mornings (low 50s). That's not as likely to happen in mid-October. And of course in October you could get the remnants of a tropical system.
