How does deposit get returned?

If Disney exercises their ROFR how is one’s deposit returned? I’m planning on putting part of the deposit on a credit card. Would I receive a credit on that card if the contract was taken? Is a check sent to me?

Also, how long does it take to get your deposit back?

I’m sure this varies by broker. We told ours just to hold on to it because eventually we will get something LOL

We got check back when, the one time, we got ROFRd. It took a couple weeks. Can't remember how we paid deposit though.

depends on broker and i think the tittle company .i know the one we have(magical vacation) in their paperwork it says they will mail you a check back and we had paid with a card so i take it they only mail out checks.broker just sent paperwork to transfer our deposit to the new contract we went for.
