Can you do the Fantasmic dinner package with a DDP credit?

Thanks in advance,

Yes you can, and when using the Fantasmic Package your meal will include an appetizer on the basic plan. This is because the Fantasmic Package includes an appetizer and your credit is paying for the Fantasmic Package.

Wow that sounds like a great deal! Is it hard to get a reservation? Is it just one table service credit?

WE got the Fantasmic Package with Hollywood & Vine (buffet style, so everything is included) for the Wednesday before Memorial Day. Was just booking an ADR and the CM helping me asked if we wanted the Package. It does take just 1 table service credit at Hollywood & Vine, but they do require a credit card on the reservation because there is a penalty for no-shows if you don't cancel reservation in advance. (I think they charge like $10 per person if you're a no-show on the reservation.) We booked in February for last week of May--was not 180 days out, more like 3 mos. Good luck!

At Mama Melrose and H&V it's one credit, at Brown Derby it's two.

Do you guys know if the Fantasmic dinner package is from a restricted menu since you get an appetizer, entree and dessert? Or can you just pick anything from the regular menu and it will be the same package price? Thanks so much:)

At MM's it's anything off the menu.

We're planning on doing it later this year and I'm looking forward to it!

Wow - I didnt realize they took a credit card hold.....its been that long since i booked this lol...

We are thinking of doing the Fantasmic dinner pkg at Mama Melrose. It sounds like a great deal if you are on the DP.
How and where are the seats for the Fantasmic show?

If you are facing the mountain, the seats are on the right side of the theater - about 1/4 of the theater (the far right section) is reserved. How early you get there determines your choice of how close or far away you sit. We always got there about 30 minutes before showtime - but I think that depends more on how crowded it is when you go. I didn't think the seats were bad at all.

You enter through a special side entrance, near the entrance to Hollywood Studios. Everyone else enters near the Tower of Terror. However, everyone exits through your special entrance area.

The only problem we had was our ADR time, I made it 3 months out for October and we had to eat at like 4:15-4:30 or so. Not my ideal time, but we were fine with it.

So if we want to go to the 9:00pm show, what time do you suggest getting our dinner ressies at Mama Melrose?

With the Fantasmic Dining Package- you have to go to the earlier show (if there are 2 that evening).

You also need to line up at the special gate 30 minutes before show time.
So, if Fantasmic is at 9:00 and you get in line at 8:30- I would say plan dinner for no later than 6:30.

Usually though, if you make your ADRs at 180 days- they only offer you times around 4:30-5:00 for the package.

Does anyone know WHY they only offer dinner with the package at this time and WHEN they may open up later times......for my date I would have had to eat at 3:45 (6 people) so I didnt book it as I have a lunch at 1:00 that I want to keep.....
