How does Child Swap work these days?

We haven't been there since before the bands. Last time, they would give us a ticket when the first parent was going in line that the second parent would give the FP guy. We have 2 girls 5 and 13. The 13yr old loves going on the older rides twice (once with me and once with her Dad.) Hoping that can still happen.

That can depend on the height of your 5 year old, the attraction, and the CM who is handing out the Rider Swap Passes at that attraction when you are there.

In early Feb, we would take the entire group up to the ride entrance and present the too short rider. The cm would give those riding a white hang tag and they would get in line. Shorty and a parent would go do something else. The ones in line would present white hang tag to the CM at the second set of Mickey readers where FP and standby lines merge, and that cm would give them the rider swap ticket. They would ride and meet back up with Shorty group. At that point parents swapped and the boys would get a second ride with the second parent. Rider swap was always good for at least 3. We never tried more than that.

we were there last February with DS, who was 3 and too short for a lot of stuff. we just had to have him with us, so the CM could see that we had a too-short rider ( i remember one time we were cutting it close to our FP time, and DH was behind us pushing DS in the stroller- and they wouldn't give us the rider swap tickets until they caught up and the CM could see DS was too short. makes sense, bc i'm sure a TON of ppl would take advantage!)
... then they would give us the ticket to give to the FP CM further up the line. we had my parents with us... and from what i remember, I'm pretty sure they gave us ones that allowed DH and i to ride, and then my parents to ride-so that all 4 adults could ride through the rider swap/FP line

Thanks all. This is a bit different from before so thanks for the update!
