How does 'cash rate' work

Hello Just wondering how does cash rate work? Can it only be used for the DVC Villa hotels or could I possibly use it at The Disneyland Hotel? Thanks.

The DVC discount only is on cash rooms at a DVC resort, not all Disney hotels. It's also subject to availability so not always available to book.

I have used "cash rate" once. It was actually a pretty nice discount, but yes, for DVC rooms only.

The DVC cash discount is 25% and DVC housekeeping rules apply. You can often do better with a public or an AP discount, plus you get daily housekeeping. I got a BWV studio once for 35% off AP discount.

You might even try to get a Chase Disney VISA discount if they have them.

Similar for me a few years ago. Had a cash rate available at VB, but found cheaper available on Expedia or something.
