How Does Beaches and Cream Work on DDP?

I think it's probably a bit of a waste of a table service credit, but I'm wondering how Beaches and Cream would work? Can our family combine our 4 desserts to get a big sundae or something like that? Surely each dinner wouldn't come with a specialty sundae. Does anyone know how this would work. We would like to give the kitchen sink a go. I am wondering if we could use our dessert credits and maybe pay a bit extra if we had to. Any thoughts?

. . . not everything at B&C is on DDP

. . . no combining

. . . correct

I am wondering if we could use our dessert credits and maybe pay a bit extra if we had to.
. . . can't do it

EDIT:
The Kitchen Sink is $24.
This is the price of a TS meal, or worth six snack credits.
That is why the Sink is not on DDP.

The Kitchen Sink is not available on DDP (although we had one report of 4 adults being allowed to pool their 4 desserts to get one - it was only one report though, so ask if you are inclined to do this, and because two of your credits are child credits you would likely not be permitted to do it anyway). Everything else is included. And yes, each dinner can come with a specialty sundae if you wish (for adults - kids have to order the kids' menu dessert) as long as it is not the Kitchen Sink.

I was wondering the same thing. I was thinking maybe you could order the kitchen sink because otherwise, I wouldn't understand why a burger/sandwich (quick service-type of place) would be charging a table service credit.

I am hoping you can order the kitchen sink on the plan. If someone knows out there, I would like to know too.

Thanks!

It is a table service restaurant because you sit down and are attended by a server who takes and brings your order. The type of food served doesn't enter into it.

And by most accounts (all but one) you cannot order the kitchen sink on the dining plan.

As Nala said above, you cannot order the Kitchen Sink on the plan.

There just are some places that are less expensive on the plan. The Plaza is another one that immediately comes to mind as CS price/quality for a TS credit.

What I really want is the No Way Jose!
Sounds great!
So, it's possible that I would be able to get one of these smaller (although still giant) sundaes for dessert on my table service credit?

Yes, if you are paying with an adult credit.

All of the sundaes except the Kitchen Sink can be ordered with a DDP credit's dessert entitlement. A No Way Jose would be an acceptable choice.

I think we actually had a second report of 4 (adult) diners pooling entitlements for the Kitchen Sink about a week ago, but it's not something I'd count on.

Well, it's not that big of a place and they're busy as it is (read: they're making good money). Any "bargain" on the dining plan would make it nearly impossible for guests of the boardwalk resorts to enjoy the atmosphere. And it is a sit-down with service at a table.

Thanks everybody! I think we'll do this. I had a TS credit reserved at Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dining but there is now a second show added and I'm afraid that they will assign us to the late show instead of the early show. I called Disney Dining and they wouldn't guarantee me anything. So I am thinking of cancelling that package and we'll head over to Beaches and Cream instead for an early supper (with whatever awesome sundaes they will give us). I wish B&C would take a ressie but we'll be over there by 4:15 so I'm hoping that create a reasonable wait time.

I believe Fantasmic packages are always for the first show.

From a value standpoint, trading a TS credit for the Fantasmic package (where you are also entitled to an appetizer) for B&C is not a good trade.

Oh wait, we're just on Basic dining so I don't think we get an appetizer anyway.
