How does AoA differ from a Mod?

Since AoA seems to be billed as a "value plus" resort what qualities distinguish it from a Mod? I know there is no TS restaurant so that is one feature. It does have a covered bus stop and all the values recently got refrigerators, or beverage coolers. The suites have coffee makers too. I suppose we need to find out more about the LM rooms to see more of the distinction.

I would suppose the LM rooms are comparable in size to the other values, thus smaller than a mod, and if they have full size beds rather than Queen beds, than that would differ from a Mod.

The Nemo pool is quite elaborate though I don't think it has a pool slide and I don't think there is a hot tub.

Anything else different? I'd be quite interested in staying there as a solo so I don't need a suite, but I don't want to go to the food court for my first cup of coffee in the morning.

Thanks

I think you summed it up well. To me, they can call it a value plus all they want but it is still a value resort. The LM rooms (from the pictures I have seen) have the same amenities as the other values but just different theming. And I still want to stay there soon!

Does AoA has ceiling fans? I know the moderate has them. AoA has suites, moderate doesn't. Comparing from regular rooms (not suites), moderate has larger square footage and has 2 queen beds vs. 2 full size.

I could be wrong, but I know that the other value resorts have rooms that are 260 square feet and I'm pretty sure that the LM rooms are somewhat larger. That could make it 'value plus'. Also, no other value has a zero entry pool, rooms and pool with RFID entry system and a splash play area for kids. Also, I understand that the Imagineers went off the charts with the theming with this one. Carsland is supposed to be worth a visit as an 'attraction' all in itself! (although other values have better playgrounds as far as 'play' activities. The 'Boneyard' could have been awesomely creative. :(
PS: Don't forget that they put in plans for a boat dock.

As a PP said, I think you summed it up well! Of course AOA has different theming, and has the same amenitites as the other value resorts, except the rooms are suites, at least that is my understanding of it.

CSR has suites, CBR still has full size beds, so do the Cabins at FW. They are all classified as moderates.

Thank you for correcting me. Does AoA have ceiling fans?
