How does Advance Ordering work?

I've messed around with the MDE app a little but didn't want to enter payment info to see what happened next. I thought there might be a sticky at the top of the forum, but couldn't find one of those either.

Would someone mind giving me a brief overview of how this works?

It sounds like you figured out the app-it takes you step by step through the ordering process-we placed our orders as we walked up to the restaurant and they would be ready when we walked in. It’s charged to the card on your MB. You walk in and the cms will point you in the right direction.
After you do it once you’ll love it!

Do you pick a time for pick up, or they just make it when you place the order? I won't have a MB, can i pay with a cc on the App?

You can only pay with a CC attached to the app (and dining plan, but it sounds like you're offsite, so not applicable). MB is not needed for mobile ordering and paying. It will charge your CC directly.

Thanks. Yes, we are just going over from Tampa for a quick one day trip on this visit. Sooo, I can enter my CC info into my MDE App before I go?

Here is a step by step for mobile ordering. It is a bit out of date as this was before the mobile ordering expanded, but it the same basic steps.

You can order anytime that day. It stores the order until you press the I'm here button. It will send you a text message when your order is ready to pick up. Usually just a few minutes.
After using it once, you will never want to stand in that line again.
