I'm thinking about a split stay for next year. We haven't even gone yet this year:rotfl:but I'm planning on booking bounceback. I would like to stay as ASMo for 4 days and then POFQ for 4 days. Which one would you do first? When I check out of one can I then go and check into the other? What happens with my luggage. I have heard people talking about luggage transfers. How does that work and how long does it usually take for you to get your luggage? Because of free dining will I have to book 2 separate reservations with park tickets on each instead of just an 8 day park hopper?

We've never stayed at either resort, but I would stay at ASMo first and end with POFQ. You can check in at the 2nd resort at any time (as early as 6 am) on the day that reservation starts. You can either take a cab with your luggage to the 2nd resort and check in and then head off to a park; or you can take your luggage to bell services, tell them which resort you are transferring to, head off to a park and bell services will take care of everything else. Luggage delivery is usually between 1-3 pm, but can be later depending on how busy the resorts are. If you book FD for both resorts, you would have to purchase tickets with each reservation. A minimum 2 day base ticket is required for FD. You could get tickets for the entire stay with the first resort and get the 2 day base on the second and save them for a future trip. Another option would be to do a FD package with the first resort (getting tickets for the whole trip) and then booking RO for the second half and paying OOP for food instead of spending more money on park tickets.
