How does a site visit work?

This may be a completely stupid question but how does a site visit work? I will be taking a group of student to WDW in June. My co-sponsor has agreed to watch the students for me while I make a quick run and take a site visit (if I can). When we are at the Studios I would like to run to the beach club/boardwalk area and check out the Attic and Ariels. How long would that last? Could I just meet them somewhere near those locations or would I have to meet them at Francks?

Site visits usually last a couple hours. If you work with a sales consultant beforehand maybe they would agree to this, but in order to get it down to an hour they would need to pick you up at DHS and drive you to BWI and then Y&BC and then back to DHS.
