How does a RO ressie affect my dining plan credits?

With the free dining offfer I had to book our first night as a room only. We check in on Oct. 25th. Does this mean that we cannot start using the credits from our dining plan portion until Oct. 26th? Will be be able to use them for breakfast on Oct. 26th? Is it feasible or possible to buy the dining plan for just one day?

Your dining credits will begin once you check in on 10/26. You need to physically check in anytime after 6a to get them started.

You can not buy the DP as a separate component for just one day.

You can only buy the DP if you switch that first day to a ticketless package (it's my understanding that ticketless packages are now available for anyone but only if you call, not online) - you cannot add DDP to a room only reservation. I think it's possible that there may be a minimum stay on the ticketless packages - there are not on packages with tickets - but unless you want to save the tickets, you don't want to buy a package with tickets only for that first day.

you can use your dining credits for breakfast on October 26 only if you check in physically at the resort for your package on that day, before you go to breakfast.

Thank you for your responses! Guess we'll ge getting up bright and early on the 26th. We have an 8:20 reservation at Tusker House.
