I type everything into a long Word document. Not only do you have a private copy (with spellcheck) but you are saved by autosave should anything happen while typing...nothing like spending forever typing up a section just to lose it when your computer does something funny.
I take a notbeook that i use as a trip journal and i decorate the pages with stickers n drawings in between pages of writing all about what i do along the way usually while I'm in the park i write key words so lets say i went to epcot then rode soarin n the seas before eating lunch it will say .....
Epcot
Soarin
Living seas
Lunch at Le Cellier
then I'd write what i ordered n so on,at night when I'm back in my room i look through it n beside each key word I write my thoughts on it so it can later become my trips story and I keep the book to help me write my reports here.Lots of people do it differently I'm sure but this is just what works best for me because I forget EVERYTHING!!!! lol
When I was at WDW I took a picture of each park/ride/restaurant sign as we went, then at the end of every day I wrote point-form notes on what we'd done. When I got home I wrote the trip report in chapters in word on my computer and even pasted in the image links as I went. I usually was writing about 3-4 chapters ahead of what I was posting.
I have been addicted to Trip Reports since I started planning my trip!
Seriously, I can't go to bed it seems without reading at least a partial report. True story.
Of course I want to share my trip with everyone too!
So, THANKS for this thread! I'll be back to check out what advice you get!
