How do you use a rice cooker?

I feel like such a dork. DH threw out the instructions to our rice cooker before I got a chance to look at them. Do you just throw in the rice and water and press the "on" button? It's the Betty Crocker rice cooker if that helps. TIA!

I don't have the Betty Crocker rice cooker, but that's how I do it in mine!

It depends on the type you have...In mine, I will place two cups of rice, rinse the rice and then fill in the water until it reaches the "2" line. Then I turn it on....my cooker has an automatic warming that is switches too after the rice is cooked....it also has a timer that I don't know how to use correctly
