How do you upgrade tickets?

If I purchase tickets from ticketmainia can I upgrade them at the park so they don't expire? If I can, where and how much $ ? TIA

Go to Guest Relations, windows or counters are near the main entrance turnstiles both inside and outside each park. Must be done within 13 days after first usage if not before.

Cost of non-expiration varies, from about $11. for what is or was a 2 day ticket to $65. for what is or was a 7 day ticket to $130. for what is or was a 10 day ticket.

Suggest you also add days to bring the total (including days already used) to seven or ten.

I was thinking of getting a 7 day and if we only used 3 or 4 days on it I would upgrade to a non expiring. I need to figure out what is most cost effective.We will be visiting US and IOA this trip for the first time and we have a 5 day pass there (3 days for free). We will only have 5 days available for parks. These new tickets are driving me crazy. So I can upgrade a ticket even if it is sold by Ticketmania.

Remember that when you upgrade to non expire after you have already used days you still have to pay for non expire for all the original days purchased.

I'm not sure if this applies to just adding non expire....But last year I kept seeing people say something along the lines of if you upgrade at the park you lose your ticketmania discount as well since to upgrade you pay the differince between what you PAID and the new ticket.

This transaction can be done at your Disney resort Concierge window as well. It will cost you $65 plus tax to add the no expiration on the 7 day ticket no matter whether you do it before you use any admissions or if you have only a single one left when you do it. You will not be charged any additional cost because it is a Ticketmania ticket. As Seashore said, it can be done prior to using the ticket or must be done within 14 days from first use (or 13 days after first use as he worded it).
