Three Things...Gratitude Thread

It's:

...so of that's your home or you like to travel there, tell us why you're grateful for it!

It's also my Aunt's birthday 🎁 and her name starts with J, so:

Today's other topic (Sun, 4/26) - 3 things you're grateful for that start with the letter J

J things:

My father, sister, brother, and nephew all have "J" names.

Janitor- Les, the janitor who covers my labs and classroom at work does a really great job. He comes in every afternoon/evening, takes care of everything, and does it all with a smile and a friendly word- even when cleaning the bathrooms! As a nighttime position, we've had workers who take advantage of the unsupervised nature of the job and spend the time sitting around playing on their phones and letting the trash overflow, dust and dirt pile up in the hallways, and I won't tell you what the bathrooms looked/smelled like! I'm really grateful that Les is responsible, does a good job, and if friendly.

Jigsaw puzzles. I struggle to do them now that my vision is so poor, post-cataract surgery, but when I could still see clearly, I enjoyed doing puzzles. I found it relaxing to have my mind focused on something, rather than scattered and thinking about 87 things at once. I really miss doing puzzles.

Happy Sunday Everyone

#1 - JESUS - Today is the 5th Sunday of Easter, and we are still celebrating that He. Has, Risen. Alleluia!

#2 - JULY - The month God gave me the first of two greatest gifts of my entire life which is DD27. She will be 28 this year and even though she has removed herself from our family, I’m grateful every day for the joy she gave me in the past.
*This month is also the birth month of my dad, my half brother (he also removed himself from our family), my DGD3 (we have never met her) and my wonderful grandma (RIP).

#3 - JAM - Grape Jam to be specific. I use it a lot on my toast and PB&Js. I’m not a jelly fan, it’s gotta be jam and as soon the jar starts to get low, I buy another one - running out is not an option - LOL!

Afternoon all,

1. June & July - my birthday is in June and in general I just love this two months as I love summer and hopefully nicer weather.

2. Jeans - love a good pair of nice jeans or jeggings too in all fairness. Such a wardrobe staple.

3. Jonesy - one of my cats, who i adore even if he brings me lovely presents in the middle of the night... this is him looking cute:

SMALL TOWN..... LARGE VISION

Over in GAMES...merriwreather introduce me to St. Charles, Idaho
Where Gutzon Borglum was born... not sure how long he lived in that barren Idaho corner....but by Wikipedia he was in Kansas 1882....15 years old... perhaps a greater sense of small visions on that Kansas parrie that encourage him ....Go big...or just stay in Kansas
