How do you unsubscribe from a thread

When I click on the link at the bottom of the e-mail I get

An invalid threadid or forumid was specified

and I don't understand what to do to unsubscribe from all threads, it says to list them?

First,make sure you are logged in.
Next, find and click on the User CP link. It is the leftmost link in the blue bar near the top.
On he left side of the next page, Click on the List Subscriptions link.
Check boxes for the threads you want to unsubscribe from, then Select unsubscribe at the bottom of the list and click Go.

Alternately, if you are actually looking at the thread, near the top there is a drop-down called "Thread Tools". If you're subscribed, the option should say "Unsubscribe from Thread". Click that option, and it will unsubscribe you.

(You can also subscribe to a Thread this way, if you don't want to Reply to the Thread)
