How do you trick or treat in over 2 feet of snow???

Growing up I can remember trick or treating in snow. Now I just make sure the kids costumes are big enough to put on over their coats. I'm so glad we had our Trick or Treating on thursday. It was REALLY nice out. today is rainy windy and just not a nice day to be out there trick or treating!

When I first got married, we lived in Nebraska and it snowed about two feet but on Halloween. It was cancelled, the weather was just too bad. They are used to the cold and snow, but not like Colorado (and Minnesota and other states).
Not too long ago, DH asked me if I was interested in relocating to Colorado. Snow in October, *sigh*. We're still in Ohio so I guess you know what the answer must have been.

It gets cold here in Maine but I don't remember a snowy Halloween. Last year, DH and I planned our costumes for cold weather since we were going to an outdoor party. The temperature was about 30 degrees. Brrrr.
