How do you tour MNSSHP?

Taking the advice I have read here this is our tentative plan. Sleep in. We have a 915 ressie at GF for Park Faire breakfast. Then back to AKL lodge with DS4. I may sneak off to do some shopping at DTD. DS17 is going off with is Girlfriend for the day. Just hang out and explore lodge. We have dinner Ressie at CP AT 420. hopefully this will work and then for the evening after HM we will let DS4 decide the plan (until time for the parade.) then off to Trick or Treat.

Well DH and I sleep in every day of our WDW vacation, so I guess we got that covered. :lmao:

We're having lunch at Sci-Fi that day, so then we'll just get back to our room, hang out for a bit, change into our costumes, and then head over to MK. This will be our first MNSSHP...I'm so excited!

Strollers are free for guests attending MNSSHP? Is that definitely true this year?

That would be a wonderful perk for us!

Eek, we have Chef Mickey's at 5:20pm.
Will this mess everything up? Assuming we got done at 6:30pm and got to the park at 6:45pm...will things be bad? Should we cancel Chef Mickey's? We were kind of looking forward to it.

I am soooo excited about MNSSHP  --even tho' I planned this trip for DH--he is such a Halloween fanatic! :wizard: I want all the tips that I can get so that we have the best time possible! :woohoo: (We'll be there Oct 5 and we're bringing MIL and FIL--they've never been to WDW!)

Just go for the candy. Keep going in all the lines multiple times. Look for the balloons. :teeth:

I was wondering that ourselves. Our internary for 9/29

9am to 1:30pm Blizzard Beach
2pm to 4:30pm Resort Rest
5:20pm TS at the Grand Floridian Cafe
6:30 to ?? MNSSHP

We have twin DD4 and are trying to tire them out early, nap, eat and hit MSNHHP as long as we can. Should we just forgo the 5:20 TS ressie and do CS somewhere in the MK? The day before (9/28) we are at the MK, so rides will not be a priority (I hope), just the fun experience. We have never been before.

When do they announce the dates for the 2007 MNSSHP? :stir: I can't wait to make plans! :Pinkbounc

Thanks for all of the great info! We're going to our 1st one on Sept. 15. We have reservations at LTT for 5:30. Still trying to figure out costumes!

Strollers are free or at least they were last year but they sell out quick and it is first come first serve. My sister could not get one at 7:20 or so last year, they were gone! We had our own but when we went in around 4ish, there were a lot there and many people from the regular days park admission were returning them still - so I am sure if you get there by 6-6:30pm, it won't be a problem.

Someone asked me on a private message whether you needed to use a regular pass admission or a hopper to get in as early as 4pm and the answer is no. All you need are your paid MNSSSHP tickets. The turn stile CM's let you right in and even at 4ish, there were a good amount of DISer's going in. That gives you 2hrs of the park to do rides before it oficially closes and then they even leave one land open from 6-7pm for the MNSSHP guests while they set up the park and get rid of the daily people without MNSSHP tickets.

Unless you have an expiring hopper pass with an extra day, I wouldn't waste a parks admission the day of MNSSHP. We had to start getting ready around 2:30pm to be ready and on the bus stop by 3:15 which then got us to MK turnstiles right at 4pm. I can't imagine going to another park for only a few hours in the morning and using up a whole day on your hopper. I would just sleep in, stay at the pool or maybe even go to DTD to shop if you are itching to go somewhere prior to. Believe me, dd slept in that morning until 9pm and then rested in the room from 1-2pm after the pool and I honestly believe that is the only way she made it to midnight. MNSSHP is non stop and tired kids will not be fun and we saw a lot of them. She then slept until 10am the next morning so I was glad we didn't have any early ADR's or plans. We ended up doing the Epcot countries that day since they don't open until 11am.

HTH - have fun!!!

Boy, we are going to be really tired. MNSSHP is our last day and we have every intention to stay at the MK from 9am, then leave to POFQ around 4:30pm to get costumes, then Chef Mickey's at 5:20, arrive at MK around 6:35, and then party till 12:00! :rotfl:

Then we have to get up for a 8:00am ADR our last morning.
